KARATE
SEMINARS IN GREECE WITH THE CHIEF-INSTRUCTOR OF SHUKOKAI
EUROPE, SHIHAN TSUTOMU KAMOHARA
 With
ABSOLUTE success, the seminars of the Vice-president
/ Technical Director / Chief-instructor of Shito-ryu
Shukokai Karate Union Greece, Shian Tsutomu KAMOHARA
(8 Dan), were completed in Heraklion of Crete, Greece,
on the 12th, 13th & 14th of November 2004. The Japanese
Sensei taught basic syllabus of Shukokai, up to the
level of the 1st Dan. Three days full of Karate: an
unforgettable experience for the members of the Greek
Shito-ryu Shukokai Union who had the opportunity to
train along with one of the world's top-rank instructors,
sensei Tsutomu KAMOHARA. It was a great honour for our
union to have the sensei with us, in order to teach
us his knowledge. All the athletes were left with the
best impressions and cannot wait for the time to pass
until our next meeting. All local newspapers and tv
channels in Heraklion of Crete reported the event as
one of the most important events for this year. We wish
to have a very good relation of  cooperation
with Sensei Tsutomu KAMOHARA, the European Shukokai
Union along with all of its members, as well as with
the World Shukokai Union and its leader, Shihan Haruyoshi
YAMADA. What we witnessed these days was a special experience,
inside as well as outside the dojos, which means that
the Great Shito-ryu Shukokai Union is a warm family
for everyone and we will be happy to be able to help
as much as we can, in anything that is organised in
our country, as well as outside of it.

Local
press & television has referred to the seminars
of Sensei Tsutomu KAMOHARA in Greece with extoling comments,
referring to the upcoming summer camp as a spotlight
of this year's athletic events. The newspapers "Patris"
and "Tolmi" have written relative articles
and a 15-20 minutes show with an interview of the Greek
Shukokai Union's Technical Director/Chief Instructor
& Vice President Sensei Nikolaos Karaiskakis (4
Dan) and his wife, President of the Greek Shukokai Union,
Anna Hourdaki (4 Dan) has taken place in Creta Channel,
where many questions were concerning the two senseis,
their dojos and what exactly is going on in them, their
teaching and their plans for the future. A demonstration
with bunkai, self-defense techniques and kata was shown
with young students of the Greek Shukokai Union.
