The first meeting of the Shito-ryu Shukokai Union Greece dojos that took place on the 12th of December 2004, has been carried out with great success, in the "Melina Merkuri" closed gym of Nea Alikarnassos, within the borders of their members' education.

In detail: Aim of the event was the proper learning of kumite rules & regulations, seminars of kumite training as well as contests between the members.

23 categories of all ages (male & female juniors, teenagers & men/women). The athletes shined for the high level of technical ability that they showed and everyone remained happy from the event and renewed their appointment for February of 2005.

The meetings of this kind will be taking place 4 times a year and the purpose will be the evolution upon fighting and technical level, having as an intention the better preparation for participations in official national championships as well as international meetings. At the same time, the points of the athletes from all 4 meetings will be gathered and the first scorer of each category will be awarded in the end of each year. In continuance, the best performing athletes will be participating in international meetings of the European as well as of the World Shito-ryu Shukokai Karate Union.
